ARTIST SPECIAL COLLABORATION

The Japanese and overseas special artists who always creatively color mt have delivered special designs to commemorate our “100th anniversary.
Collaborating with these artists, mt will continue to try out new possibilities for masking tape expressions.

Subdued Color, which has pleasant grey-ish hues, and High Brightness, featuring geometric patterns depicted with pop hues.

The Basic Subdued Color is the best match for the translucency and nuanced colors of “washi” (Japanese paper).
High Brightness mt creates a more solid feel than regular printing and lets you feel true depth in its patterns.
These new creations are both simple yet richly expressive.

The Subdued Color Set makes its debut in the 10 roll set, a long seller for mt.

This 10 roll set, which has continued to be loved since mt’s creation, is updated with Subdued Color from the previous Muted Color.
We chose grey-ish, calming and nuanced colors, which makes it easy to combine with each other.
We have also updated the 20 roll set of 7mm in width.

“maruichikyu” makes appealing works with warm patterns.
The retro and warm motifs and colors and the feel of the detailed handiwork of these fine rubber stamps which are stamped over and over while drawing, are reproduced in mt.

maruichikyu

A graduate of Department of Spatial Design at the Kyoto University of the Arts. Since she was an elementary school student, she has made eraser stamps and drawn pictures. Since the end of 2020, she has worked on mt event limited edition tapes as "maruichikyu", one of the mt new creators. She creates masking tape designs with colorful eraser stamp pictures made by pressing several plates together.
